WWE NXT Results (5/26/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us as we see the arrivals of Lola Vice, The Culling and DarkState.
Wren Sinclair then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and she is accompanied by Kendal Grey. Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring next.
Non-Title Match: WrenQCC’s WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan
The match starts off with Kelani Jordan wasting no time in attacking Wren Sinclair. Sinclair then hits a series of arm drags and she follows it up with a dropkick, sending Jordan to the outside. Sinclair then hits a snap suplex. Sinclair then runs into a big boot. Jordan then pounds away at Sinclair. Sinclair then fights back, but Jordan hits her in the midsection. Sinclair then applies an armbar. Jordan then hits a superkick. Jordan then sends Sinclair’s head into the lower turnbuckle. The fight then spills to the outside and Sinclair hits a dropkick. Sinclair then hits a back body drop to Jordan on the floor and Sinclair is still favoring her knee.
Sinclair. then applies an abdominal stretch in the center of the ring. Jordan then fights out of it and she targets Sinclair’s injured left knee. Jordan then continues to work on Sinclair’s injured left knee and Sinclair is screaming in pain. Jordan then runs into an elbow. Sinclair then tries to fight back, but Jordan takes her out with a springboard clothesline and she follows it up with a suplex. Sinclair then hits a series of rights, but Jordan puts her down again. Sinclair then hits another back body drop. Sinclair then hits a series of chops to Jordan. Sinclair then hits Jordan with a gut-wrench suplex. Jordan then goes for a Split-Legged Moonsault, but Sinclair moves out of harm’s way. Jordan then applies a crossface on Sinclair and she locks in a lower-body submission. Sinclair then taps out.

We then see Tatum Paxley and Lizzy Rain in the back and Tatum apologizes to Lizzy about what ZARIA did. Lizzy says she is not going to be collateral damage for ZARIA. Shiloh Hill then shows up and he talks about his Mr. NXT campaign. Tristan Angels then shows up and he wonders why Lizzy is involved in this. He then runs through the petition names and Tristan talks about the process. He says then he hopes Charlie Dempsey stretches some sense into Hill. Lizzy then says she is going to come after ZARIA and she has some scheming to do. Hill then asks to join her.
DarkState then make their way down to the ring as they have some explaining to do after kicking out and laying waste to Saquon Shugars last week. Osiris Griffin starts off by saying when DarkState strikes, nobody is safe. Dion Lennox then talks about Saquon Shugars, calling him an indie talent. He then says there’s a reason he was the last member of DarkState. Cutler James then says Saquon Shugars made it easier for them last week. He then says DarkState gave Shugars so many chances to get back, but he became a liability.
Cutler James then says last week was the last straw. Dion Lennox then says Saquon Shugars tried to act like he was better than him in the group. Lennox then says John Cena picked him in the Iron Survivor Challenge. Lennox then says he didn’t ask for it, but earned it. Lennox then says there’s no DarkState without him and he wasn’t going to let Shugars tear it down. Lennox then puts the entire locker room on notice. Lennox then makes it clear that nobody is safe now and he walks off with the group.
We then see Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey in the trainer’s room. Lola Vice tells Wren that everything will be okay. Kali Armstrong then shows up and says Kendal isn’t that confident now. Lola then asks Kali what is she looking at. Kali then says when you get in the ring with the difference maker, you will see. Lola then says there is someone who needs to be knocked out.
Sean Legacy then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Dorian Van Dux follows.
WWE Men’s Speed Tournament First Round Match: “Super” Sean Legacy vs. Dorian Van Dux
The match starts off with Dorian Van Dux applying a side headlock, but Sean Legacy hits a dropkick. Legacy then goes for suicide dive, but Van Dux catches him in mid-air and sends him into the ring post. Van Dux then hits a leg drop. Legacy then goes for a 450 Splash, but misses. Van Dux then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Legacy then hits Van Dux with a DDT and he follows it up with a 619. He then runs into a boot. Legacy then hits a hurricanrana. Legacy then goes for a 450 Splash, but Van Dux gets his knees up. Legacy then hits Van Dux with a dropkick and both men are down.
Both men then exchange Strikes in the middle of the ring. Van Dux then hits a kick. Both men are up on the top rope, but the clock struck zero as the three-minute time limit has expired and the match is over.

We then see Nattie enter the locker room to thank Layla Diggs for standing up for her. Nattie then says someone knows how to treat a legend. Nattie then says she wants to be in Layla’s corner tonight.
Jaida Parker then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Layla Diggs follows as she is accompanied by Nattie.
Singles Match: Jaida Parker vs. Layla Diggs
The match starts off with both women locking up. Jaida Parker then applies a side headlock and she pounds away at Layla Diggs. Parker then hits a shoulder block and she follows it up with a clothesline. Diggs then drives her shoulder into the midsection of Parker and she follows it up with a side kick. Diggs then hits a leg drop for a near fall. Both women then trade strikes. Parker then hits a series of chops and she follows it up with a couple of clotheslines. Parker then slams Diggs onto the mat.
Diggs then heads to the top rope and she goes for a moonsault, but Parker moves out of harm’s way. Parker then hits a hip-notic and she follows it up with a sit-down style powerbomb for the win.

After the match, Nattie stares at Jaida Parker. Parker then leaves the ring and stares down Nattie as she goes to the back.
We then see Blake Howard with Lexis King and they talk about the Speed Tournament. Lexis says there are going to be casualties when you try to deal with him. Lexis then says Charlie Dempsey will make a casualty of Shiloh Hill. Nathan Frazer and Axiom then show up to doubt Lexis’ claims of being the fastest. Frazer then says Romeo Moreno has as much chance to win as Spain does of winning the World Cup. Axiom then tells him that isn’t the best thing to say and Frazer says he doesn’t think England will win either.
Tony D’Angelo then makes his way down to the ring. D’Angelo starts off by saying we have an influx of new, young and hungry faces here at NXT to spice things up. D’Angelo then says he will face Kam Hendrix next week. D’Angelo then says he promises not to lose his NXT Championship next week. Tony D’Angelo then calls Naraku out and Naraku makes his way down to the ring. D’Angelo says he knows Naraku wants to talk in riddles and hidden messages, but he is more of a straight shooter. D’Angelo then says Naraku has been stalking him and asks him if he wants a shot at the NXT Championship. Naraku then says he is here to keep Tony D’Angelo and his NXT Championship safe.
D’Angelo then says he ain’t buying it. D’Angelo then says he promises to take care of Naraku after handling Kam Hendrix next week. Kam Hendrix then makes his way out and vows to become the next NXT Champion. Hendrix then calls himself the fastest rising superstar in recent memory. Hendrix then says he promises to destroy the pillar of NXT next week. D’Angelo then says he gets that Hendrix is confident. D’Angelo then says you aren’t the first to come out and say they deserve to be on top. D’Angelo then says you see this title as a status symbol where you can parade around on the red carpet. D’Angelo then says he sacrificed to get to the top. D’Angelo then says he dealt with failure and now he has to face a man who hasn’t earned a damn thing in NXT.
D’Angelo then says you won a match. D’Angelo then says to take this strap from him, you will have to rip his heart out. D’Angelo then says that ain’t gonna happen. D’Angelo then walks away and Naraku blocks a punch from Hendrix and he punches Hendrix and clotheslines him over the top rope. Naraku then bows to D’Angelo and he leaves the ring.
We then see Tavion Heights and he tells Myles Borne he didn’t cost him the match. Myles then says he knows that Tavion wants to make a statement, but he could make both of them crash and burn. Tavion then says Myles should be happy that Kam chose Tony. DarkState then attack Myles and Tavion.
We then see The Vanity Project walking in the back and Jackson Drake praises their victory. They then talk about DarkState breaking up. Tate Wilder is in the back and The Vanity Project asks how long will Tate be out. Tate then says he will not be out long. Jackson then says Tate has a lot to learn. Tate then asks Jackson to step in the ring with him next week. Jackson then says Tate doesn’t want this after what Keanu did to him. Tate then says he lives for this.
Nathan Frazer and Axiom then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar follow.
WWE Men’s Speed Tournament First Round Match: Fraxiom’s Nathan Frazer vs. Romeo Moreno
The match starts off with Nathan Frazer applying a side headlock and he follows it up with a dropkick. Frazer then flies over the top rope, taking out Romeo Moreno. Back in the ring, he runs into a boot. Moreno then hits a missile dropkick for a near fall. Frazer then hits Spanish Fly for a two count. Frazer then hits Moreno with a kick. Frazer then heads to the top rope, but Moreno hits a German Suplex on him and both men are down.
Both men then trade strikes in the middle of the ring. Moreno then launches himself outside the ring, taking out Frazer. Back in the ring, Frazer hits a superplex. Moreno then rolls Frazer up for the win.

After the match, Frazer lifts Moreno’s arm as a show of respect and we get a stare-down.
We then see Izzi Dame and Niko Vance backstage. She talks about potentially becoming the new NXT Women’s Champion. She then asks about Shawn Spears’ whereabouts. Niko Vance then hopes he’s getting ready.
We then see NXT General Manager Robert Stone and Mason Rook backstage. Stone says he is glad what Rook did to Kam Hendrix. Stone then says Hendrix defeated Myles Borne, which is why he’s getting a title shot. Stone then assures Rook that he will still be in title contention. Naraku then walks up to him and tells him to stay out of Tony D’Angelo’s match next week.
Shawn Spears then attacks Bronco Nima and Lucien Price with a chair and Niko Vance yells at Spears.
We then see Sarah Schreiber stop Kali Armstrong to ask her about her recent actions and what title she will go after. Kali says she will run through the locker room and she needs to pick her spots. Kali then says she might go after both titles. Thea Hail then says it would be great to go after both titles, but that is a dream. Kali then says it is a dream for Thea, but not for her. Shiloh Hill then stops to ask ZARIA if she will sign his petition. ZARIA then tells Shiloh to get one of his crazy friends. Shiloh then tells ZARIA to worry about Lizzy Rain. Lizzy then attacks ZARIA and they fight in the back. Officials then come out to separate them and there are loud noises.
Charlie Dempsey is already in the ring for the next match of the night and Shiloh Hill makes his way down to the ring.
Singles Match: BirthRight’s Charlie Dempsey vs. WWE LFG season two winner Shiloh Hill
The match starts off with both men locking up and Charlie with a side head lock and hammer lock. Hill with a slam. They lock up and Charlie with a side head lock and take down. Hill with an ankle lock and side head lock. Hill with a shoulder tackle. Charlie with a drop toe hold and a wrist lock. HIll with an arm wringer. Charlie with a knee to the midsection and an abdominal stretch. Hill iwth a back body drop. HIll goes up top and he puts on his opera glasses and hits a clothesline. Hill clotheslines Charlie over the top rope to the floor.
