WWE announced the lineup for the September 1 episode of NXT during NXT Heatwave.
The show will deal with the fallout from a night that saw Grayson Waller win the NXT Championship, Kelani Jordan capture the NXT Women’s Championship, Jackson Drake take the North American Title, and Vanity Project regain the tag titles.
Mason Rook will go one-on-one with Kam Hendrix. Hendrix has made it clear he believes Rook is standing in the way of his rise, and he promised to beat him on Tuesday. Thea Hail will face Nikkita Lyons in another singles match. Both women have a chance to make a statement as NXT begins its road to Halloween Havoc.
Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno will team up against Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. The four men will look to build momentum coming out of Heatwave.
