It was reported yesterday that Matt Hardy will be using the “BROKEN” character now that Impact is no longer pursuing the legal rights to the name.
Dave Meltzer indicated in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the gimmick won’t be referred to as “BROKEN” while being used in WWE. The company will use the term “WOKEN” instead.
Speaking of WOKEN & BROKEN, when Jeff Hardy returns from his injuries he is expected to be using the “WOKEN” gimmick alongside Matt.
