WWE is making some significant changes to how it handles production for Crown Jewel 2026, with much of the upcoming Premium Live Event set to be produced remotely from the United States instead of entirely on location in Saudi Arabia.

The November 7 event will take place at the ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but WWE reportedly won’t be sending its usual number of production personnel overseas.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, a major portion of the Crown Jewel broadcast will be remotely engineered from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Production and satellite trucks will be stationed at the company’s headquarters rather than having the entire operation based in Saudi Arabia.

WWE will still have a sizeable production crew on location in Riyadh, but the overall number of staff traveling to Saudi Arabia will be smaller than usual. Those working at the arena will be responsible for setting up cameras, audio equipment, and other production elements needed for the broadcast.

Once everything is in place, the feeds will be transmitted back to WWE Headquarters, allowing the production team in Stamford to operate remotely as though they were physically present at the event.

The arrangement represents a notable shift in how WWE produces one of its international Premium Live Events. While the company will continue handling essential production duties on location, much of the work behind the broadcast will take place thousands of miles away.

It remains to be seen whether WWE plans to use this remote production approach for additional international events or whether the arrangement is specific to Crown Jewel 2026.

What do you think about WWE producing much of Crown Jewel remotely from its headquarters instead of sending its full production team to Saudi Arabia? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
