Drake Morreaux’s night on WWE LFG ended with a win — and then a reality check from Shawn Michaels.
The May 3, 2026 episode closed with Michaels calling Morreaux into his office, and he didn’t waste time getting to the point.
“Unfortunately your time in the PC is going to be over here.”
The show cut to commercial immediately after, leaving the moment hanging. When it came back, Michaels made it clear this wasn’t a temporary setback — it was the end of the road for Morreaux in NXT.
“The reality is we do not have a place for you in NXT…”
Then came the pivot. Instead of cutting him loose completely, Michaels laid out a different path — one that takes Morreaux outside WWE.
“…but on the other side of that coin, there is a huge opportunity for you in AAA.”
Morreaux didn’t fight it. He embraced it. He said he would love to go to AAA and he’s ready to get to work. Michaels even made it clear this isn’t necessarily goodbye forever, hinting there could still be a way back if things click.
“I think you are really going to come into your own down there.”
One conversation changed everything. Morreaux went from working inside the Performance Center system to being told his future is somewhere else — with Michaels personally delivering the message and pointing him toward AAA as his next move.
