Jesse Ventura could be making his way back to WWE television this weekend, following a long absence.

According to WrestleVotes Radio, WWE has invited the Hall of Famer to attend SummerSlam in Minneapolis, and the company is discussing putting “The Body” back in front of the cameras if everything comes together.

The current expectation is that Ventura would appear on the SummerSlam pre-show, although those plans aren’t locked in just yet. WWE has been talking internally about using the Hall of Famer, but no final decision has been made on whether he’ll actually appear on the broadcast.

If it happens, it would make for a fitting homecoming. SummerSlam takes place in Ventura’s home state of Minnesota, and it would mark his first appearance at a WWE event there since SummerSlam 1999—bringing him back to the same event nearly three decades later.

For now, Ventura’s appearance remains up in the air. But with WWE wanting him in the building and discussing an on-screen role, don’t be surprised if “The Body” pops up during one of the company’s biggest shows of the year.
