WWE continues expanding its behind-the-scenes production team — and this latest hire will reportedly be involved with everything from RAW to AAA.
After Hunter Selby recently joined WWE as the company’s new Director of Show Production and Design, another production-related addition has now been confirmed. Jim Rodriguez has officially revealed that he joined WWE as a Senior Associate Producer, confirming the news himself on Twitter after quietly starting with the company in April 2026. Rodriguez shared the announcement on Twitter and made it clear this was a major career milestone for him.
“Bucket list job! I’ve joined the WWE as a Senior Associate Producer.”
He then revealed just how broad his role inside the company will be, confirming involvement across multiple WWE brands — including WWE’s growing connection with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
“Gonna be involved with RAW, Smackdown, NXT productions and making trips to Mexico for AAA.”
The announcement came alongside behind-the-scenes photos from recent WWE events, including production setups at RAW and SmackDown venues.
Before joining WWE, Rodriguez built experience across multiple sports and entertainment platforms. He previously hosted shows for the Bet MGM Network and also worked for IMG as a Producer and Associate Director, where he supervised Spanish-language broadcasts for Major League Soccer coverage on Apple TV.
That background makes the AAA aspect especially notable, since WWE’s expanding relationship with Mexican wrestling continues becoming a bigger part of the company’s international strategy.
Between Rodriguez joining as a Senior Associate Producer and Hunter Selby stepping in as Director of Show Production and Design, WWE is clearly making major moves behind the camera as well as in front of it.
Bottom line — WWE’s production side is changing fast, and with new hires tied directly to RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and AAA, fans may start noticing more evolution in how the company presents its programming moving forward.
