Finn Balor was originally expected to feud with Bray Wyatt after the House of Horrors match at Sunday’s WWE Payback event. Those plans have appeared to have changed and WWE is going in a different direction now.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the company is going to have Balor feud with The Miz instead of Bray. This could be part of the reason as to why WWE booked a Miz TV segment with Balor at WWE Payback, so that they could jump start that feud. In regards to Bray’s next feud, Meltzer speculates that Bray will work a program with Dean Ambrose moving forward.
