WWE is taking NXT on the road for a special live event — and Philly is getting the spotlight.

The company announced that a “special edition of NXT” is officially set for Tuesday, August 19 at The Met Philadelphia. The episode will air live at 8 PM ET on The CW, marking another major moment for WWE’s third brand under its new broadcast deal.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Wednesday, July 9 at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT through Ticketmaster. But those looking to lock in seats early can jump on the exclusive presale by using the code “NXTLIVE” starting Tuesday, July 8 at 10 AM ET/7 AM PT, running through 11:59 PM ET that same day.

This announcement comes nearly two years after WWE and The CW revealed a five-year agreement in November 2023 to bring NXT to broadcast television for the first time in the brand’s 13-year history. NXT now shares space on The CW with live sports like the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ACC and Pac-12 football, basketball games, Grand Slam Track, and AVP beach volleyball.

Philadelphia has hosted its fair share of wild wrestling moments over the years — and with NXT’s stars looking to prove themselves on the big stage, this special edition promises more of the same.
