Willow Nightingale’s broken hand is getting better, but she’s not out of the woods just yet. The AEW star has now given fans a fresh update on her recovery and revealed she’s still doing daily treatment to help the injury heal.

Nightingale took to her Instagram story and shared a photo of herself behind the wheel with a bone stimulator on her injured hand. She said there’s been progress, although the hand still isn’t completely healed.

“It’s better, but not 100% healed. Still using that bone stimulator everyday, even if I have to fit it in while stuck in traffic.”

The update comes after Nightingale has continued to appear on AEW television despite the injury. Fightful Select previously reported that AEW planned from the moment she got hurt to keep her involved on television while her hand recovered rather than pulling her from programming completely.

The injury hasn’t completely stopped Nightingale from wrestling either. Despite dealing with the broken hand, she went on to face Thekla at AEW All Out last month and even returned to the ring again on the October 6 episode of Collision.

That came after Nightingale lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Mercedes Moné at All In. She passed out in the Statement Maker to end her title reign, and the broken hand only added another obstacle for her in the weeks that followed.

For now, Nightingale’s update makes it clear the hand still needs more time, even though she’s seeing improvement. She’s apparently staying committed to the recovery process wherever she can squeeze it in — even if that means getting some treatment done while sitting in traffic.
