Will Ospreay won’t walk into his AEW World Championship match against Kenny Omega alone. Less than 24 hours before AEW All In 2026, Ospreay asked Callum Newman to stand in his corner at Wembley Stadium—and Newman accepted.
The moment came after Ospreay made a surprise return during RevPro’s 14 Year Anniversary Show at Wembley. Ospreay wasn’t announced for the match, but when Sha Samuels created a five-on-four advantage against CPF, Ospreay emerged as the mystery partner and evened the odds.
That put Ospreay on the same team as Newman despite the friction between them. After they fought side by side, Ospreay took things one step further by asking Newman to join him for the biggest match of his AEW career.
Newman accepted, meaning he will be in Ospreay’s corner when the former AEW International Champion challenges Omega for the AEW World Championship at Wembley Stadium. The decision adds to an already massive match. Ospreay and Newman may have their issues, but they put those problems aside at RevPro—and now Newman will have a front-row seat as Ospreay tries to leave London with AEW’s biggest prize.
Ospreay wrestled one final RevPro match before All In, then walked away with backup for his showdown against Omega. Whether Newman’s presence becomes the difference at Wembley remains to be seen.
