Kyle Fletcher is getting another shot at Will Ospreay, and this time the AEW World Championship will be on the line. During the AEW Dynamite episode for October 28 2026, AEW officially confirmed that Fletcher will challenge Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear on November 14.
The announcement came shortly after Fletcher defeated Jack Perry in a competitive singles match on Fright Night Dynamite. Fletcher had Don Callis in his corner as he battled Perry, with both men getting plenty of offense throughout the match. Perry nearly pulled off the victory after locking in the Snare Trap, but Fletcher managed to reach the ropes before eventually putting Perry away with a Brainbuster from the top rope.
Fletcher wasn’t finished after picking up the win. With Mark Davis and Jake Doyle celebrating alongside him, Fletcher grabbed the microphone and reminded everyone that he had just beaten someone considered one of AEW’s original pillars. He also brought up his previous Full Gear victories over Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay, making it clear that he wanted to add another major win to his record.
That’s when Fletcher turned his attention directly to Ospreay. He challenged the AEW World Champion to put his title on the line at Full Gear, promising to prove that he’s the best when the two meet again.
AEW didn’t take long to make it official. Following a commercial break, the company confirmed that Will Ospreay will defend the AEW World Championship against Kyle Fletcher at Full Gear on November 14.
