Paul Heyman has made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t want his children to follow in his footsteps in pro wrestling.
While speaking to Metro UK, Paul Heyman revealed that despite his long and successful career, he doesn’t want his children, Azalea and Jacob, to follow in his footsteps. He stated that he wants them to create their own paths and not feel pressured to live up to what he has achieved in his life.
‘I want them to carve their own niche,’ he explained. ‘They don’t have to measure up to what I’ve accomplished.’
The Oracle is the best at what he does, but he is obviously sensible enough to know that his children would be constantly compared to him if they ever joined pro wrestling. That’s why many fans also feel it’s simply for the best that his children don’t pursue pro wrestling.
Right now, Paul Heyman is more focused on building Bron Breakker to become one of WWE’s top stars in the future. Paul Heyman doesn’t want his kids to get into pro wrestling because he wants them to create their own paths in life.
The Oracle understands how tough the business can be and would rather see them build something that’s truly their own. Even though his children won’t be in the ring, Heyman’s impact on WWE will still live on through the stars he helps shape and that’s all that matters in the end.
