Big Cass is back in WWE, but fans are still asking the same question: where does Enzo fit into all of this? After Cass’ surprise return on RAW sent fans into a frenzy over a possible reunion, a new backstage report says Enzo has already been in contact with WWE—but whether he actually returns is still anyone’s guess.
Speaking during a Self Made Session, Self Made Pro revealed Enzo has recently spoken with WWE executive Lee Fitting and even stopped by NXT, though nothing has been locked in.
“The person that I originally heard about Enzo coming in… Enzo did talk to Lee Fitting and he also did visit NXT. So apparently his situation is up in the air.”
That’s a notable update considering the speculation that exploded after Big Cass stormed back into WWE on the August 3 edition of RAW. The former tag team standout blindsided Je’Von Evans in his first WWE appearance in eight years, immediately getting fans wondering if Enzo would be far behind.
Enzo only poured gasoline on those rumors. Hours after Cass’ return, he shared a series of throwback photos from their days tearing it up on the independent scene, in NXT and on WWE’s main roster, writing only, “Dream • in heart, in mind.” He followed that up with another post that made it clear he knew exactly why everyone was talking about him.
“Enzo & Aaron Rodgers are trending like it’s 2016.”
The timing had fans convinced something more could be brewing, especially with earlier reports claiming WWE had discussed bringing both former partners back instead of just Cass.
For now, though, the latest word is that Enzo’s status remains unresolved. The conversations have reportedly happened. The NXT visit happened. Whether any of it leads to Enzo walking back through the curtain is still very much up in the air.
