Russo says that Meltzer has an agenda, and one or both of Hart and Michaels probably buried him at one point in the past. The fact that Meltzer recently said that Michaels wasn’t one of the top thirty North American draws of all time only proves this point in Russo’s opinion.

Lane plays a clip from one of What Culture’s recent audio shows, where the host said that Nakamura’s first WWE Title opportunity should not have come against an experimental Champion like Jinder Mahal. Russo wonders why this host considers Mahal’s Title reign to be an experiment, and he also wonders why we’re all supposed to love Nakamura just because he’s from Japan. In Russo’s opinion, Mahal looks like a more credible Champion than Nakamura to casual fans.

Another fan tweeted Meltzer this week and said it’s silly when wrestlers take straight kicks to the head and then get right back up and counter. Meltzer says that in real fights, fighters take kicks to the head and counter all the time. Russo says he’s never seen a real fight where someone took a kick to the head and immediately countered, and he says it’s simply impossible to do so believably.

That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
