Russo says he was actually excited to see who the newest member of the cruiserweight division was, and for a split second he thought we were going to see the return of Rey Mysterio. When Kalisto’s music hit Russo was severely dissapointed and by the reaction from the live audience, he wasn’t the only one who was dissapointed.
Getting into his Smackdown Live analysis, Russo still can’t believe WWE officials haven’t instructed Nakamura to properly pronounce ‘WWE’. Every time Nakamura tries to say WWE Championship he says ‘WW’ instead. Russo points out that WWE officials are so childish that they might be getting a laugh from this, and that’s why they haven’t instructed him to fix it.
Russo thought The Usos were cutting another great promo before The New Day came out and ‘cut their nuts off’. He thought it made The Usos look very weak to have them give up the final word to New Day, and then simply leave the ring. Going into a physical Hell in A Cell match, he was surprised that WWE made The Usos look this week just a few days before.
