Jason Powell said last week that the Mae Young Classic winner can’t speak English at all, but she’ll be able to get by without speaking because of her charisma and facial expressions. Russo disagrees with this entirely and says that no television character has ever gotten over without speaking English. For example, he says that if the producers of Friends replaced Joey with a Japanese guy who couldn’t speak English, that character would have never gotten over.
A final clip of Wade Keller presents him saying that people’s issue with John Cena is not the fact that he’s holding talent back, rather it’s his ‘loose application of the STF’ and his ‘jorts’. Russo says these are the reasons that Keller don’t like Cena, not everyone else.
