Russo wonders if a unionized environment would help the paranoia of injured wrestlers. Vito points out that the NFL does a great job of protecting their players when they go on IR and he believes a unionized wrestling company could have a similar positive effect on the lives of their injured Superstars.

Russo thinks this real issue here is that WWE is a very fabricated society where they want their performers to be paranoid and uncomfortable. If they wanted their employees to be comfortable we wouldn’t see Superstars hiding injuries. He adds that WWE wrestlers have power in numbers, and if they’d all walk out on RAW one Monday perhaps the company would begin taking their rights seriously.
