If you’ve got Val Venis pegged as a Donald Trump guy because of the stuff he says online, Venis says you’ve got him all wrong. The former WWE star just torched that assumption himself, claiming there isn’t one single Trump policy he actually agrees with.

Venis got into it during a Twitter Spaces conversation on his own X account after a fan asked what people misunderstand about him. That question opened the floodgates, with Venis saying people slap political labels on him instead of actually listening to what he believes.

That’s when Trump came up. Venis said people have accused him of being a right-wing Trump supporter, but he insisted his actual position couldn’t be much further from that.

“There is a one single policy of Donald Trump’s that I’ve ever agreed with. Not one. But do you know how many people will sit there and claim that, you know, I follow Trump’s every footsteps, I don’t hate Trump, you know, whatever. As a person, I think Trump’s a, you know, a pretty fascinating dude, but in the end, he’s a statist and I’m not. And so there is no policy of Donald Trump’s that I agree with. Not, not a one.”

That’s a pretty wild line considering how Venis can get painted online, but he wasn’t done explaining himself. Venis said people on both the political right and left misunderstand where he’s coming from because his issue isn’t which side controls the government — he doesn’t want the government controlling people in the first place. Then somebody finally asked him straight-up whether that means he’s an anarchist. Venis didn’t hesitate.

“Yeah, I’m what you would call an anarchist. If you, if you were to take a look at all of my political positions, you would say yeah, you’re an anarchist. So I’m not a big fan of labels, but hey, I mean you got to describe things in ways that people understand it, right?”

So there you have it. Venis may say things that get him lumped into one political camp or another, but he’s saying flat-out that he’s not a Trump policy guy — and he doesn’t sound interested in joining anybody else’s team either.

Were you surprised to hear Val Venis say he doesn’t agree with a single Donald Trump policy, or does his anarchist explanation make his politics make more sense? Sound off in the comments.
