Val Venis just took Ava’s Charlie Kirk comments and turned them into a full-on family shot.

The former WWE star responded after Ava talked about the backlash she received for posting that if people want kind words said about them after they die, they should say kind words while they are alive. Ava said that post brought a wave of hate from angry conservative men who did not even know who she was.

Venis clearly did not like what she said, and he fired back on X by saying Ava had a “profound misunderstanding” of Charlie Kirk’s record.

“Ava’s statement, ‘If you want people to have kind words when you pass, you should say kind words when you’re alive,’ reflects, in my view, a profound misunderstanding of Charlie Kirk’s public record.”

Then he got even sharper. Venis said Ava was not stupid, but called her ignorant. He argued that if her claim about Kirk was treated like evidence in court, she would need to prove that Kirk was unkind instead of just saying it.

“Ava isn’t stupid. She is ignorant. If her claim were subjected to the same standard of due process applied in a courtroom, she would need to present concrete examples showing that Charlie Kirk was unkind. Simply asserting it isn’t evidence.”

Venis did not stop with Ava, either. He dragged The Rock into it and said he believes Ava’s father “sold his soul” by using his influence around the 2020 presidential election.

“As for her father, The Rock, I believe he sold his soul and used his influence to promote a narrative surrounding the 2020 presidential election that I strongly disagree with. In my opinion, that same unwillingness to critically examine the evidence appears to run in the family.”

So yeah, Venis went from defending Charlie Kirk to calling Ava ignorant and saying The Rock sold his soul. That is not exactly a light disagreement.

Ava’s original comments came during her appearance on The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi, where she said she is used to wrestling fans coming at her because of who her dad is. The Rock’s daughter said that part has been happening for years, but this situation felt different because it brought in people outside the wrestling bubble.

“And cuz the thing is, I was quite used to getting hated on by wrestling fans cuz I was like, ‘All right, whatever. Fine.’ But it was hated on by wrestling, by certain wrestling fans. Yes. Like I’m used to that, blah blah, like shit on me because of who my dad is.”

She said the Charlie Kirk post led to angry conservative men coming after her, even though they had no clue who she was.

“Like they’d be calling me every type of slur, but that’s from wrestling fans. However, there were so many angry conservative men that I was like, you don’t even know who I am.”

Venis’ response is exactly the kind of thing Ava was talking about. Venis made it clear he believes Ava was wrong about Kirk, but bringing The Rock into it took the whole thing to another level. Now this is not just about Ava’s post anymore. It is about Val Venis ripping her logic, defending Charlie Kirk, and accusing The Rock of selling out politically.

Did Val Venis go too far by dragging The Rock into his response to Ava, or was he fair to call out what she said? Let us know what you think in the comments.
