John Cena and Shohei Ohtani 1-of-1 Card Sells for Insane $58,800 After Wrestler’s Bid Falls Short
Independent wrestler Arik Cannon took a swing at a rare John Cena and Shohei Ohtani trading card—but his wallet got hit with the Attitude Adjustment. Cannon placed what he believed was a strong bid on the one-of-one collectible. Once serious money entered the auction, however, he quickly realized he wasn’t even close. Cannon laughed off the loss on Twitter after the card sold for a jaw-dropping $58,800.
“I put what I thought was a pretty healthy bid in on this. But I did not win this auction… Not even close! 😂☠️”
The card is a 2026 Topps Now World Baseball Classic Foilfractor featuring Cena and Ohtani. It received a perfect PSA 10 Gem Mint grade, and only one copy exists. It also features a wild crossover between two sports icons. Cena and Ohtani are both shown performing Cena’s famous “You Can’t See Me” hand gesture as part of the card’s “U Can’t See Me” Icons Flex Skills design.
In other words, this wasn’t just Topps slapping a wrestling legend and a baseball superstar onto the same piece of cardboard. It put Ohtani right alongside Cena while recreating one of the most recognizable poses in WWE history.
That combination sent collectors into a spending frenzy, leaving Cannon’s “healthy” bid buried beneath a $58,800 final price. And Cena cards are commanding even crazier money elsewhere. A one-of-one 2025 Topps Royalty WWE WrestleMania Patch Autographs card featuring Cena climbed from a $15,000 opening bid to $92,000 while its auction was still active.
That card includes Cena’s autograph and a multicolored patch worn at WrestleMania 41, where he defeated Cody Rhodes to win his record-setting 17th WWE World Championship. The buyer’s premium will push the final cost even higher.
Cannon knew the Cena and Ohtani card wouldn’t come cheap, but nearly $60,000 clearly wasn’t what he had in mind. When the only card of its kind features Shohei Ohtani hitting “You Can’t See Me” beside John Cena, collectors were always going to throw serious cash at it.
