WWE is loading up next week’s SmackDown with two championship matches, and both titles will be on the line. Sami Zayn and Chelsea Green are being put to work as the company continues building toward Crown Jewel. WWE confirmed both matches for October 30, giving the Halloween edition of SmackDown a pretty big lineup.
The announcements were made during the October 23, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown, with WWE revealing that Sami Zayn will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams, while Chelsea Green will put the WWE Women’s Championship on the line against Nikki Bella.
Zayn’s match against Williams is especially interesting because he’s already scheduled to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7. That means Zayn will have to get past Williams before he can even worry about his champion-versus-champion showdown with Reigns.
Green is in a similar situation. She successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez on this week’s SmackDown, but now she’s got another challenger waiting. Nikki Bella will get her shot at Green’s championship next Friday, giving Green another title defense before her scheduled Crown Jewel match against Liv Morgan. Both matches could cause problems for WWE’s Crown Jewel plans if either champion loses.

- Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams
- WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green (c) vs. Nikki Bella
Next week’s SmackDown will feature a special Halloween-themed presentation called Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown. The show airs Friday, October 30, at 8 PM ET on USA Network.
