Triple H wasted no time celebrating Roman Reigns’ massive victory at WWE Crown Jewel 2026, making it clear that The OTC deserves recognition after defeating Sami Zayn to become the Men’s Crown Jewel Champion. The WWE Chief Content Officer took to Twitter following the match and delivered a familiar message about Reigns.
Reigns entered Crown Jewel as the World Heavyweight Champion and faced Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn in a highly personal Champion vs. Champion showdown. Despite a chaotic encounter involving two incapacitated referees and Zayn attempting to use a championship belt, Reigns ultimately secured the victory with two consecutive Spears.
Shortly after the match, Triple H took to Twitter and shared a photo of himself standing alongside Reigns, who was holding his championship gold. His caption made it clear just how highly he regarded The OTC’s latest accomplishment.
*”The OTC.
The World Heavyweight Champion.
And now…The #WWECrownJewel👑 Champion.
Acknowledge him.
@WWERomanReigns”*
The message was particularly interesting considering the storyline leading into Crown Jewel. Zayn had spent weeks demanding that Reigns and everyone else acknowledge him, borrowing the very phrase that became synonymous with Reigns during his time leading The Bloodline.
Instead, it was Reigns who walked away victorious, and Triple H made sure to remind everyone exactly who deserved to be acknowledged. The victory also continued Reigns’ efforts to establish himself as a dominant champion without relying on his family to interfere on his behalf. He managed to overcome Zayn’s increasingly desperate tactics and leave Saudi Arabia with another major accomplishment.
With Triple H publicly showing his support, Reigns has even more reason to celebrate. However, Zayn’s defeat could have serious implications for the Undisputed WWE Champion, especially after his attempts to bend the rules failed to deliver the result he wanted.
What do you think about Triple H telling everyone to acknowledge Roman Reigns after his Crown Jewel victory? Do you agree with his message, or should Sami Zayn have won the match? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
