Triple H was clearly loving what he saw after Penta and Je’Von Evans walked out of WWE Crown Jewel with some new hardware. The WWE Chief Content Officer wasted little time giving the new champions his signature seal of approval after their massive win in Riyadh.
Following the match, Triple H took to Twitter and uploaded a photo alongside Penta and Evans. Naturally, he broke out the famous double-point pose as the newly crowned WWE World Tag Team Champions showed off their titles.
“Taking over the world… Congratulations to the NEW @WWE World Tag Team Champions PENTA and Je’von Evans! #WWECrownJewel”
It was a pretty huge night for Penta and Evans, who knocked off Bron Breakker and Austin Theory to end The Vision’s run with the World Tag Team Championships. They didn’t exactly get there without a little chaos along the way either.
Bronson Reed tried to tilt things in The Vision’s favor by taking out Penta and Evans at ringside. Just when it looked like the numbers game might completely screw the challengers, the lights went out and Oba Femi showed up.
Femi wanted Reed and absolutely wrecked him, eventually launching the big man off the stage with a toss powerbomb through a table. With Reed suddenly removed from the equation, Penta and Evans finally had their opening.
Penta took out Breakker at ringside and connected with a Destroyer before Evans nailed Theory with a double-jump cutter to get the three-count. Just like that, WWE had a brand-new set of World Tag Team Champions.
Triple H’s post made it pretty clear he was happy to celebrate the moment with them afterwards. Between winning the gold at Crown Jewel and immediately getting the classic Triple H double-point photo, Penta and Evans certainly got the full new-champion treatment in Riyadh.
