Penta and Je’Von Evans are the new WWE World Tag Team Champions, but they got some unexpected help from Oba Femi during WWE Crown Jewel 2026. What started as a championship showdown against Bron Breakker and Austin Theory turned into complete chaos when Femi made a surprise appearance and took out Bronson Reed.
The World Tag Team Championship match saw The Vision defend their titles against Penta and Evans in a physical contest that featured plenty of outside involvement. Breakker and Theory repeatedly isolated their opponents, while Maxxine Dupri also got involved by distracting the referee and later placing Theory’s foot on the ropes to prevent a pinfall.
Things got even worse for the challengers when Bronson Reed interfered. Reed pulled Penta out of the ring and delivered a Death Valley Driver onto the floor before clotheslining Evans over the barricade. The Vision appeared to have everything under control, especially after connecting with a Doomsday Bulldog that nearly ended the match.
That’s when everything changed. The lights suddenly went out, and Oba Femi made his entrance as everyone inside the ring watched. Femi wasted no time going after Reed, setting up a massive confrontation between the two powerhouses.
Reed and Femi charged directly at each other, but Femi got the upper hand with a running corkscrew uppercut. He then delivered a devastating toss powerbomb off the stage, sending Reed crashing through a table. With Reed taken out of the equation, Penta and Evans seized their opportunity. Penta launched himself from the turnbuckles onto Breakker at ringside before connecting with a Destroyer. Evans then delivered a double-jump cutter to secure the three-count, giving the challengers a massive victory.
Penta and Je’Von Evans were crowned the new WWE World Tag Team Champions, ending Breakker and Theory’s reign in dramatic fashion. The result also raises questions about Oba Femi’s involvement with The Vision. His decision to target Bronson Reed directly changed the course of the championship match, and the violent confrontation could be the beginning of something much bigger between the two men.
For Penta and Evans, the victory marks a major moment in their WWE careers. After spending weeks battling The Vision and enduring repeated attacks, they finally got their hands on the World Tag Team Championships. However, Oba Femi’s involvement will likely be just as important to what happens next.
