Triple H just gave Ari Emanuel one hell of an endorsement. The WWE Chief Content Officer says the TKO boss knows how to make it in business and entertainment better than just about anybody — and he used Emanuel’s new book to make that point loud and clear.
Triple H posted a video after returning to WWE headquarters from what he called an incredibly successful weekend of tours across South America, Mexico and the United States. Waiting for him in his office was a copy of Roll the Calls, Emanuel’s new book that drops on September 22. Triple H said he already got an early look at the book, and he wasn’t exactly shy about how much he liked it.
“Hey everybody, just got back here to HQ from an incredibly successful weekend. Tours in South America, Mexico, and across the United States. Got back to my office, and waiting for me was a copy of Roll the Calls by the one and only, my friend Ari Emanuel. His brand-new book is out September 22nd.”
“I’ve had a chance to preview this book, and I can tell you it’s awesome. It is a no-BS look at what it takes to make it in business and in entertainment from a man who knows how to do it better than anyone else, Ari Emanuel.”
That’s not exactly a throwaway corporate compliment. Emanuel sits at the top of TKO Group Holdings, the company that houses WWE and UFC, and Triple H is one of the most important people running WWE’s day-to-day creative machine.
So when Triple H says Emanuel knows business and entertainment “better than anyone else,” that’s a pretty massive put-over from a guy who has spent decades inside one of the most ruthless entertainment businesses on the planet.
The two have been tied together closely since WWE became part of TKO, but this was more personal than some stiff corporate promo. Triple H flat-out called Emanuel his friend, praised the book as a “no-BS” look at success, and made it clear he sees the TKO executive as someone who knows exactly how to get deals done.
Emanuel has built a reputation on aggressive dealmaking, and now Triple H is basically telling people the new book is the playbook. WWE fans may know him as one of the power figures above the company, but Triple H’s message was simple — this is a guy he believes actually knows the business.
