Triple H has addressed whether Nick Aldis will wrestle again after his impressive WWE in-ring debut against GUNTHER at SummerSlam.

Speaking during the SummerSlam post-show, Triple H praised Aldis for stepping into the match on short notice and still looking like a million bucks against the Ring General.

Triple H also discussed the emotional scene after the match, when Aldis reunited with his wife, Mickie James, and their son. Mickie eventually joined Aldis inside the ring as the crowd gave him a standing ovation.

That family moment was not planned, but Triple H admitted that watching it unfold still made him emotional. He was proud of Aldis and excited that he was able to have such a major moment on one of WWE’s biggest stages.

When asked whether Aldis could wrestle again, Triple H refused to rule it out. He made it clear that WWE will see where things go, especially after a performance that left people wanting to watch Aldis compete again.

Aldis has already been reinstated as SmackDown General Manager after Triple H tore up his resignation letter following the show. However, his strong performance against GUNTHER has now opened the door for him to potentially balance his authority role with more matches.

Nothing has been locked in for Aldis’ next in-ring appearance, but Triple H’s comments made one thing clear: WWE is not treating SummerSlam as a guaranteed one-and-done situation.
