Trick Williams just added another rap-world connection to his WWE run, this time linking up with Soulja Boy.

WWE took to Twitter and uploaded a video of Williams meeting Soulja Boy, with the two exchanging pleasantries and showing mutual respect. Trick made it clear he was a fan of the rapper and was glad to meet him, continuing his recent crossover momentum with major names from the music world: ” @_trickwilliams met @souljaboy at @Collect_A_Con ! 🔥”

The clip comes after WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select noted that WWE officials have been very happy with Williams’ recent momentum, especially after the reactions he received during appearances tied to his home state of South Carolina.

WWE has also been pleased with Lil Yachty’s involvement alongside Williams, with backstage praise directed toward Yachty’s effort and dedication during recent television appearances. Williams previously said Yachty has become genuinely invested in wrestling and wants to eventually train properly for a match.

Now, with Soulja Boy entering the mix, WWE appears to be continuing to lean into Williams’ crossover appeal. Trick has already been gaining a lot of momentum as one of WWE’s fastest-rising names, and these celebrity connections only give the company more ways to present him as a star beyond the ring.

Do you think WWE should keep pairing Trick Williams with major music names, or should the focus stay strictly on his in-ring rise? Share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
