Tony Khan had every opportunity to confirm or deny Britt Baker’s return at AEW All In 2026—and he carefully avoided doing either.
During the August 27 media call, Khan was directly asked whether Baker could appear at Wembley Stadium this Sunday. Khan first revealed that AEW has an intriguing group of wrestlers waiting for opportunities to get onto the show. While the eight-match main card is already announced, he said there will be room throughout the pay-per-view and the Buy-In to add more.
“Well, there’s certainly a very intriguing lineup of wrestlers waiting at the door to appear on the show. I’ve announced the eight-match main card, and I think there are going to be great opportunities throughout the evening and throughout the Buy-In to put more on the show.”
Khan then acknowledged Baker’s history with AEW and Wembley Stadium. He pointed out that Baker is one of the company’s originals and competed at the last All In London event.
“Britt Baker is somebody who is an AEW original and has competed at All In London previously. I know fans are always excited about Britt and asking about Britt. The last time we were in Wembley Stadium, Britt was on the show.”
That would have been the perfect time for Khan to reveal whether Baker will return. Instead, he gave the same answer he normally offers when asked about an unannounced comeback or debut.
“I would say, as with all the questions about people returning or debuting, anytime we’re getting asked about somebody coming back to AEW TV or debuting, I’ve always said, ‘Stay tuned.’ In this case, I would say that makes sense as well.”
That keeps Baker’s status wide open heading into Sunday. She isn’t announced for the show, but Khan refused to rule her out while openly discussing additional opportunities to put more wrestlers on the card.
The timing is especially interesting because Baker recently made it clear that she wants to return at Wembley. When a fan told her they wished she would appear at All In, Baker responded that she felt the same way.
Baker has also said that returning to AEW isn’t entirely her decision. She hasn’t wrestled for the company since November 2024, and her last television appearance came on the November 13 episode of Dynamite when she confronted Serena Deeb.
Khan could have ended the speculation with one direct answer. Instead, he praised Baker, reminded everyone of her Wembley history and stopped short of revealing anything beyond telling fans to stay tuned.
