Tommy Dreamer has taken plenty of punishment during his wrestling career, but apparently his latest injury created a problem he probably never expected — his head set off airport security. Naturally, Dreamer is convinced there might be a wrestling rib hiding somewhere in all of this.

Dreamer took to Instagram and shared a photo from an airport lounge showing off a pretty nasty bruise and cut on his swollen head while enjoying a drink. According to Dreamer, the swelling was apparently enough to make his head trigger TSA screening.

“A first in my career
My head went off in TSA
I guess it’s swollen”

Things then got pretty funny when the TSA agent told Dreamer that his head needed to be patted down. When the agent asked whether he had any sensitive areas, Dreamer had the most obvious answer possible considering the condition of his head.

“The guy said I have to pat your head down
I said wear gloves
He said any sensitive areas
I said yes my head”

Dreamer then decided there could only be one reasonable explanation for this whole situation. He jokingly pointed the finger at Storm Wrestling Academy and suggested somebody might have arranged one hell of a traveling rib at Calgary Airport.

“If I can be serious for a moment
I feel @stormwrestlingacademy is behind this traveling rib in Calgary Airport”

Considering Dreamer has spent decades getting hit with everything imaginable, having his swollen head apparently trigger airport security might actually qualify as a career first. At least he was able to laugh about it afterwards — drink in hand and battle scar very much still visible.
