TNA is making changes to this week’s episode of Impact to honor the late Benjamin Satterley, better known to wrestling fans as PAC and Neville. Even though Thursday’s show has already been taped and completed, the company is working to add a tribute graphic and other elements honoring Satterley following his death at just 40 years old.
The September 24 episode was produced before news of Satterley’s death rocked the wrestling world, meaning TNA didn’t have an opportunity to recognize him when the show was originally taped. Rather than simply letting the episode air as-is, the company is now making sure PAC is acknowledged when Impact airs Thursday on AMC.
Exactly what those additional tribute elements will include beyond the graphic hasn’t been revealed, but TNA is actively working them into the finished broadcast.
The move comes after WWE also made sure Satterley was remembered immediately on television. As Ringside News previously covered, WWE opened the September 28 episode of RAW with a black-and-white memorial graphic reading, “WWE Remembers Benjamin Satterley ‘Neville,’” along with the years “1986-2026.”
There was no lengthy video package or drawn-out segment on RAW. WWE simply put Satterley’s image on the screen before anything else happened, making his tribute the first thing viewers saw that night.
The tributes come after Satterley passed away at 40 years old only hours removed from one of the final major appearances of his career. He wrestled at AEW All Out on Saturday night, challenging Andrade for the National Championship before appearing again later during the Jon Moxley vs. Will Ospreay main event.
Satterley was found unresponsive inside a rental car in Des Plaines, Illinois, on Sunday and was pronounced dead that afternoon. His official cause of death has not been released as additional testing remains pending.
His career touched several major wrestling companies. WWE fans knew him as Neville, where he became NXT Champion and later one of the faces of the Cruiserweight division. After leaving WWE, he reinvented himself as PAC and eventually became one of AEW’s major early additions, later capturing both the All-Atlantic Championship and AEW World Trios Championship.
Now TNA is joining the growing list of companies making sure Satterley receives recognition on television. The fact that Impact was already finished didn’t stop the company from going back and adding something for PAC — a small but meaningful gesture for a wrestler whose career reached fans across promotions around the world.
The wrestling business has spent the days since Satterley’s death trying to process a loss almost nobody saw coming, and Thursday’s Impact will now carry another reminder of just how widely respected he was. TNA could have simply aired the show already sitting in the can, but instead, the company is making room to remember PAC before moving forward.
