WWE opened the WWE RAW episode on September 28, 2026 with a tribute to Benjamin Satterley, better known to WWE fans as Neville and to AEW fans as PAC. Before anything else happened on the show, WWE put a black-and-white memorial graphic on the screen honoring the former WWE star following his death at 40 years old.
The graphic featured Satterley alongside the words, “WWE Remembers Benjamin Satterley ‘Neville’,” with “1986-2026” underneath. There was no long video package or extended segment attached to it — WWE simply made sure his name was the first thing fans saw as RAW went on the air.
The timing made the moment hit especially hard. Satterley had just wrestled at AEW All Out on Saturday night, challenging Andrade for the National Championship before later appearing again during the main event involving Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
Less than a day later, the wrestling world was rocked by news of his death. Satterley was found unresponsive inside a rental car in Des Plaines, Illinois, and was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon. His official cause of death has not been released, with additional testing still pending.
For WWE, the tribute also carried plenty of history. Satterley joined the company in 2012 and became one of NXT’s biggest names as Neville, capturing the NXT Championship before moving to the main roster. He later became a centerpiece of WWE’s cruiserweight division and held the Cruiserweight Championship before eventually leaving the company.
He later rebuilt himself as PAC and became one of AEW’s major early signings, winning the All-Atlantic Championship and the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix.
AEW confirmed PAC’s death on Sunday, and tributes have continued to pour in from across the wrestling business. WWE choosing to open RAW with his memorial made it clear that, despite the different chapters of his career, Satterley’s time as Neville still meant something to the company and its fans.
RAW had an entire show to get through in Milwaukee, but WWE made sure the night started by remembering Benjamin Satterley first. It was a simple tribute, but one that immediately set a somber tone before the rest of the show moved forward.
