Penta just confirmed a major WWE Intercontinental Championship match for RAW in Paris, and he’s set to defend the title against Rey Mysterio.
Penta took to Instagram and announced that he will defend his Intercontinental Title against Rey Mysterio on the June 8 episode of Monday Night RAW in Paris, France. The match joins an already loaded show featuring King and Queen of the Ring tournament action. Penta made it clear that facing Rey is a huge career moment for him.

The June 8 RAW already has two major tournament matches confirmed. Seth Rollins, Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints, and Talla Tonga will face off in a King of the Ring qualifier, while Becky Lynch, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, and Chelsea Green will face off in a Queen of the Ring match.
Now, Penta vs. Rey Mysterio gives the Paris episode an even bigger title match. For Penta, this is more than just another defense — it is a dream match against one of the most important luchadores in WWE history.
