Tiffany Stratton knows exactly what some people in the wrestling world think about her. She just doesn’t think they have her figured out nearly as well as they believe.
While speaking to N3on during a Kick stream, Stratton was asked about the biggest misconception people have about her. The former Women’s United States Champion didn’t hesitate.
“I’m a b*****. They think I’m a b*****.”
That wasn’t the only perception Stratton wanted to shut down. Because she didn’t grow up watching professional wrestling, Stratton believes some fans have taken that to mean she doesn’t actually care about the business. For her, the position she has already reached in WWE should make it pretty obvious that isn’t the case.
“The world thinks I don’t care about wrestling, like the wrestling world does. They don’t think I care about wrestling. I don’t know. They think because I didn’t grow up watching wrestling, I don’t care about wrestling. I feel like I wouldn’t be in the position I am if I didn’t care about wrestling.”
Stratton has never hidden the fact that wrestling wasn’t some lifelong childhood obsession for her. Her athletic background came from gymnastics before she eventually made the jump into WWE and quickly climbed through NXT onto the main roster. That apparently hasn’t stopped some people from questioning how much wrestling actually means to her. Stratton says they’re wrong.
“So they think I don’t care about wrestling, which I do. They think I’m a b****, which… I don’t think I’m a b****. I genuinely just operate in sunshine and rainbows.”
Stratton may not have grown up dreaming about becoming a WWE Superstar, but she clearly doesn’t believe that makes her any less invested now that she is one. As for everyone who thinks she’s a bitch, Stratton apparently sees herself a little differently, she’s just sunshine and rainbows.
