The Countdown To WWE Money In The Bank Pre-Show opens up with a look at New Orleans, Louisiana. We then get a video package on WWE Money in the Bank.
Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show as we see the arrivals of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Oba Femi and Penta. Cole then introduces us to the other members of the pre-show panel Big E, Corey Graves and Peter Rosenberg. The pre-show panel then gives us a run down of the card for tonight’s Money in the Bank PLE.
Jackie Redmond then interviews LA Knight. Jackie asks why he isn’t the most popular in the back. Knight says he doesn’t play well with other. Knight then says talent can’t be kept down. Knight then says the people have been saying his name for the last three years. Jackie then asks why does Knight think Roman is ducking him. Knight says his fear is not winning the World Title. Knight then says Roman’s fear is LA Knight. Knight then says Roman puts people between them to keep the title. Knight then mentions Crown Jewel in 2023. Knight says he hasn’t forgotten what Jimmy did. Knight then says he knows Roman can’t beat him on his own. Jackie then asks how does Knight handle the pressure of this being his last shot. Knight says he goes into every match thinking this man can’t beat me. Knight then says the shoe is on the other foot. Knight then says anyone can get clipped with 946 around.
Jackie Redmond then talks about LA Knight. Byron Saxton then talks about Roman Reigns.

Rey Mysterio is asked about being cashed in on in 2010. Rey says the person with the briefcase has nothing to lose while the champion has everything to lose. Corey then asks about Rey working with AAA. Rey says it means everything because that is where he kicked off his wrestling career. Rey then says now he is the GM. Rey then says he has always said that lucha libre would take over. Big E then asks Rey about Penta and how much his success has meant for him. Rey says it is incredible. Rey. then mentions his upbringing and his desire to be a wrestler. Rey then says he sees a similarity between Penta and him. Rey then picks Penta to be the winner tonight.
Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then joins the panel and they are joined by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. Vic asks Pearce about his pick. Pearce agrees that Penta is a good pick, but he thinks Je’Von might be perfect for the match. He then says Sol is a good pick on the women’s side. Booker then asks Nick for his thoughts and he says experience works in this type of match and Punk is on Smackdown. He also mentions Trick Williams and Jacy Jayne. Nick and Adam then argue over which brand is superior.
Cathy Kelley then interviews Kevin Owens. She asks about Kevin’s last ladder match at Royal Rumble 2025. Kevin says he will not give Cody any credit for what happened with his absence. Kevin then says he is better than ever. Cathy then asks about his family’s concern about him coming back and getting injured again. Kevin says he is going to give his all no matter how much time he has and that is what he told his family. Cathy then asks about tonight’s match. Kevin says things weren’t going great before he got hurt. Kevin then says he lost friendships. Kevin then says when he came back, he felt there was a clean slate.
