Fanatics Fest may be going much heavier on WWE legends next year—and Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart are already being discussed.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select says WWE viewed this year’s Fanatics Fest as a major success, with several advertised stars drawing steady crowds throughout the weekend.
Cody Rhodes and Danhausen were among the biggest attractions, generating plenty of attention from fans and people working behind the scenes. Charlotte Flair also had one of the longest autograph lines of the entire event.
That response has Fanatics looking toward an even bigger WWE presence in 2027. With the traditional WWE World convention not expected to take place in the United States next year, Fanatics is exploring the idea of leaning harder into WWE history and bringing in more legends. Steve Austin and Bret Hart were two of the names mentioned as hopeful attendees.
Nothing has been locked in, but the idea is clear. Fanatics Fest saw how strongly fans responded to WWE talent this year, and the people running the event now want to turn up the nostalgia in 2027.
Austin and Hart would immediately become two of the biggest attractions on the entire convention floor. After the lines Cody, Danhausen and Charlotte pulled this year, Fanatics clearly sees more money waiting in WWE’s past.
