Steve Maclin just did something nobody expected to see from the former TNA World Champion — he put on a wedding dress, twerked in it, and helped pull off a prank on Josh Alexander during a vow renewal ceremony.
Deonna Purrazzo took to Instagram and uploaded a video from Jade Chung and Josh Alexander’s vow renewal. According to Purrazzo, Chung asked Maclin if he would wear a wedding dress to prank Alexander during the couple’s “first look.”
“Our best friends renewed their vows yesterday. When @jadechung11 asked @stevemaclin if he would wear a wedding dress to prank @walking_weapon during the “first look”, he said ABSOLUTELY. 😂”
The video showed Maclin fully locked into the prank, wearing the wedding dress while Purrazzo laughed in the background. He didn’t just stand there either, because Maclin even started twerking in the dress for good measure. Purrazzo also used the post to show love to Chung and Alexander after their vow renewal.
“We love you two and are so grateful to have you and your family in our lives. ✨🤍 Here’s to laughing asthma attacks forever! 🥂”
The timing makes the whole thing even funnier, because Maclin has had a pretty wild stretch lately. TNA announced on June 7, 2026, that he and Myla Grace had been released, effective immediately. Maclin later said he had requested his release the week before after five years with the company.
“Last week I requested my release from TNA. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything I’ve done over the last 5 years and I’ll always be thankful for my time there. But now, it’s time to STACK BODIES. See you soon.”
Maclin went from leaving TNA to locking in a new deal, then somehow ended up in a wedding dress pranking Josh Alexander. Not exactly the usual free-agent rollout, but it definitely got people laughing.
Bottom line, Maclin may be ready to stack bodies in the ring, but outside of it, he’s apparently also willing to stack memories in full bridal gear. That’s friendship, chaos, and commitment all wrapped into one very strange first look.
