Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE return may be close, but Clash in Italy no longer looks like the spot for her comeback.
According to PWInsider, there had been some expectation within WWE that Vaquer could be back in the storyline mix by this weekend. However, the latest word is that while there were pitches for her for Monday’s RAW, she is not currently expected to travel to Italy.
“As we noted last week in the Elite section, there were some in the company who expected Stephanie Vaquer back in the storyline mix by this weekend. We were told this morning that there were pitches for her for Monday’s Raw but as of today, she was not expected to travel to Italy.”
This changes expectations after earlier reporting suggested Vaquer could be involved in WWE programming by Clash in Italy weekend. PWInsider previously noted that there had even been internal discussion about her possibly appearing on RAW, but there was no indication she was in Greensboro for that taping.
Vaquer has been out of action since suffering a legitimate second-degree AC joint sprain. WWE wrote her off television on the April 27 episode of RAW after a storyline attack, and her absence raised questions when she was later removed from newer promotional material.
Before the injury, WWE had discussed a possible feud between Vaquer and Liv Morgan heading into Backlash 2026. Those plans were paused once the injury happened, but the fact that pitches are already being discussed for her shows WWE still has plans for her return.
For now, Vaquer’s comeback appears to be moving closer, but not through Clash in Italy. If WWE had pitches for Monday’s RAW, her return may still happen soon — just not on the international stage this weekend.
