Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE return may not be happening on Raw tonight after all — but a new report suggests fans still won’t be waiting much longer to see her back on television.

According to PWInsider, Vaquer is now expected to be back involved in WWE programming by Clash in Italy weekend. The report also clarified that while there had been internal discussion last week about Vaquer potentially appearing on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, there is currently no indication she is actually in Greensboro for the taping.

That changes expectations quite a bit after earlier reports suggested her return could happen as soon as this week. Vaquer has been out of action since suffering a legitimate second-degree AC joint sprain, which led to WWE writing her off television during the April 27 edition of Raw following a storyline attack. At the time, there was significant uncertainty surrounding how long she would be sidelined. Now, however, it appears WWE is already positioning her for a comeback tied closely to Clash in Italy weekend.

Before the injury, WWE had internally discussed a feud between Vaquer and Liv Morgan heading into WWE Backlash 2026. Those plans were ultimately paused because of the injury situation, but this new report suggests WWE still sees Vaquer as an important piece of the women’s division moving forward.

Vaquer’s absence also became more noticeable after she was quietly removed from newer WWE promotional material, leading many fans to wonder whether the company expected her recovery to take much longer. Instead, it now looks like her return timeline may have accelerated considerably.

At this point, it’s not known whether she will immediately resume her previous storyline direction once she’s back in time for Clash in Italy on May 31st. For now, Vaquer’s status for tonight’s Raw remains unclear, but her return appears to be getting closer.

Do you think WWE should jump right back into the Liv Morgan feud once Stephanie Vaquer returns, or should they take her in a completely different direction after the injury layoff? Leave your thoughts and feedback below.
