Stephanie Vaquer finally addressed the change to her entrance theme—and she’s making it clear she’s still not over losing her original song.
After previously revealing she fought hard to keep her first WWE theme, Vaquer is now opening up about the switch during a new interview with Chris Van Vliet on April 14, 2026.
When asked about her current theme, Vaquer didn’t sugarcoat her reaction, admitting there’s still a clear difference in how she connects to it compared to her original track. Vaquer also made a direct appeal to fans, acknowledging the change hasn’t gone unnoticed and asking for patience as she continues to adapt to the new presentation.
“I like it—I don’t love it. I loved my old song. But, you know, rights issues and many other things meant we needed a new song. I just hope people can understand that and keep the new one.”
That comment confirms the switch wasn’t purely creative, but instead tied to behind-the-scenes complications involving rights and licensing—something that ultimately forced WWE to move in a different direction despite her earlier efforts to keep the track.
This comes after her original theme, “Bury Me,” composed by Chris Egert, became closely associated with her rise—especially during her transition to WWE’s main roster. Now, while the music has changed, Vaquer’s comments make it clear the connection to her original theme is still there—and the adjustment to something new is ongoing.
