Steph De Lander had something to say, and she didn’t need many words to make the point.
On June 1, 2026, the former TNA talent took to Twitter and posted a cryptic message about women in wrestling still being told how they should present themselves. De Lander wrote:
“Dang in 2026 we’re still telling women in wrestling they need to be more feminine? lol”
She also attached a GIF of a woman in face paint with a deadpan expression, which only made the post feel even more sarcastic.
De Lander didn’t name anyone in the tweet, so it’s unclear what exactly sparked the comment. Still, the message seemed to call out the idea that women in wrestling should have to fit a specific feminine image instead of being allowed to create their own characters.
For now, De Lander is keeping the details vague, but the message itself was direct enough. She doesn’t seem impressed that this is still a conversation in 2026.
