Xena may already have her next move lined up once she leaves STARDOM, and it could be a big one.

The 29-year-old announced that her final STARDOM match is set for July 8 at Korakuen Hall, ending a three-year run in Japan. Now, according to False Finish, some people within AAA/WWE already expect her to join the company once she wraps things up.

That makes her farewell match a lot more interesting. Xena announced her exit at STARDOM The Conversion on June 20 after her singles match with HANAKO, then posted a message thanking the fans who supported her in Japan.

“One chance encounter. July 8th, let’s celebrate this moment together. To everyone who welcomed me in this beautiful country, Japan, thank you so much. The encounters, experiences, and memories of these three years are treasures to me.”

Xena never won singles gold in STARDOM, but she wasn’t just passing through either. She held the Artist of STARDOM Championship with Maika and Mina Shirakawa and challenged for both the High Speed Title and the World of STARDOM Title during her run.

If the AAA/WWE expectation turns into a deal, it would be another sign that WWE and AAA are not slowing down when it comes to adding fresh names and building crossover momentum. Xena has experience, international exposure, and a STARDOM résumé, so she would definitely be an interesting pickup.

At the end of the day, Xena’s STARDOM chapter is closing, but her next one may already be lined up. July 8 could be her goodbye to Japan, and maybe the first step toward something much bigger with AAA.
