WWE appears to have already decided who will punch his ticket to SummerSlam during the July 13, 2026 episode of Monday Night RAW.
The show will feature a massive seven-man gauntlet match involving Chad Gable, Dragon Lee, Joe Hendry, Je’Von Evans, Dominik Mysterio, Ethan Page and Rusev. The winner will earn an Intercontinental Championship match against Penta at SummerSlam.
According to Fightful Select, Chad Gable is currently set to survive the field and walk away with the title opportunity.
“Chad Gable is set to win the IC Title number one contenders gauntlet.”
That would put Gable directly in Penta’s path heading into SummerSlam and give him another major championship opportunity after spending years fighting to reach the top of WWE’s midcard division.
The gauntlet is only one part of a loaded RAW. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins are scheduled to close the show with their World Heavyweight Championship contract signing, while Brock Lesnar will return as his Hell in a Cell war with Oba Femi continues. Bayley and Lyra Valkyria will also come face-to-face following Lyra’s betrayal, and IYO SKY will battle Roxanne Perez as her issues with The Judgment Day continue.
Plans can always change before RAW goes live, but Gable is currently lined up to leave Dallas as Penta’s next challenger.
