SummerSlam Sunday is already stacked with huge matches, but it looks like fans will be getting an extra treat tonight — a special entrance paying tribute to one of wrestling’s all-time greats.
According to Fightful Select, WWE has an Eddie Guerrero-style entrance planned for the show, complete with a car as part of the spectacle. While the report didn’t specify which match this will be for, many are already speculating it could involve Dominik Mysterio given his long-standing ties to Guerrero’s legacy.
Dominik is set to defend the Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles tonight, and an entrance nodding to Guerrero would be a fitting callback considering the storyline history between Eddie and the Mysterio family. It would also be a moment fans in MetLife Stadium — and watching worldwide — wouldn’t forget anytime soon.
If this entrance goes ahead as planned, it could end up being one of the most talked-about moments of the night, adding even more star power to an already loaded SummerSlam card.
