WWE has a busy night planned for Monday Night RAW, and fans now have an early idea of who will be kicking things off. Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn is currently scheduled to open tonight’s show, giving the champion the first spot on a card already featuring several championship matches and some unfinished business.
According to Viper Reports, the early rundown for the October 26, 2026 episode of RAW lists Sami Zayn as the opening segment. The rundown doesn’t reveal what Zayn will be doing or whether anyone else will be involved, but WWE apparently wants the Undisputed WWE Champion in front of the crowd right out of the gate.
It’s worth noting that this is an early rundown, meaning plans could still change before RAW goes live. WWE has been known to adjust segments and their placement throughout the day, so Zayn opening the show isn’t locked in just yet.
The October 26 episode takes place at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, with plenty already announced for the night. Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer will battle in a No. 1 Contender’s Match after Adam Pearce made the match official.
Bayley and Lyra Valkyria will also settle their growing issues in a No Disqualification Match after their latest confrontation led to the stipulation being announced.
The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be on the line when Raquel Rodriguez defends against Iyo Sky. Chad Gable and Dragon Lee are also scheduled to team up against Big Cass and Ethan Page.
For now, Sami Zayn is the name listed to get RAW started, although what WWE has planned for the champion remains to be seen. With Crown Jewel approaching, his opening appearance could help set the direction for the rest of the night, provided the early rundown stays intact.
