John Cena is returning to WWE RAW on November 2, 2026, to reveal details about the John Cena Classic, but the early plans for his announcement are already coming out.

According to the show’s rundown, WWE is preparing to hold the tournament at Disney World on December 14, with a championship also set to be introduced. Cena is scheduled to make the announcement during the WWE RAW episode on November 2, 2026 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The current plan calls for him to announce a special December 14 episode of RAW from Disney World, where the John Cena Classic will take place. He’s also expected to unveil a title for the tournament.

This is a different direction from what had been discussed in recent days. Dave Meltzer previously suggested December 19 as a possible date, which would have put the John Cena Classic directly against AEW Worlds End.

WrestleVotes also discussed the possibility of Cena holding the tournament at his college in Springfield, Massachusetts, after hearing that SmackDown was scheduled for nearby Hartford, Connecticut, on December 18.

“I heard over the weekend, SmackDown’s coming back to the XL Center on Friday night, December 18. I heard that if they do the 19th, then Cena wanted to do this John Cena Classic at his college, Springfield University, which is just a few miles up the road from Hartford, CT.”

However, the November 2 RAW rundown points to December 14 at Disney World instead. That would also mean WWE wouldn’t be putting the tournament against AEW Worlds End on December 19. Cena previously promised that his RAW appearance would finally put an end to the speculation surrounding the tournament.

“Make sure not to miss #WWERaw next week. SPECIAL START TIME OF 6PM EST! The wait is over, the speculation ends 11/2. Let’s build this ‘Never Seen’ CLASSIC! OUR time is NOW!”

For now, these details are based on WWE’s early rundown, and plans can always change before the show airs. The company has yet to publicly confirm the December 14 date, Disney World location, or tournament championship.

Cena was supposed to clear up the mystery surrounding the John Cena Classic on RAW, but the early rundown has already given away some of what he’s expected to say. If WWE sticks with the current plans, the tournament will be part of a special RAW at Disney World, with a new championship also being introduced.
