AEW fans have noticed in recent weeks that Sonny Kiss has been out of action. He isn’t on Dynamite every week, but Kiss has also been off AEW Dark. There is a reason for that, because he is injured.
During the AEW post show, Tony Schiavone confirmed that Sonny Kiss is currently injured, but he’s not just staying at home. He’s been spotted in the trainer’s room around AEW. He did not confirm what kind of injury Kiss suffered.
“He’s been injured. I’ve seen him in the training room. So he’s been banged up. I’ve seen him in the gym but he’s just not able to perform. He is a tremendous athlete.”
Sonny Kiss recently graduated from college as well, and that was a big moment for him. Now he is preparing for his in-ring return, but this speedbump isn’t likely going to slow him down for long.
