Solo Sikoa fought like hell to stay away from Roman Reigns. Now he’s been forced back into The Bloodline, and his reaction made it pretty clear this wasn’t the family reunion he wanted.
After losing to Jey Uso in the main event of the August 10 episode of Monday Night RAW, Solo took to his Instagram Story and summed up his new reality.
“Damn…I gotta go back.”
That’s exactly what Jey promised would happen. Earlier in the night, Jey vowed to beat Solo and deliver him back to Roman after Solo repeatedly refused to rejoin The Bloodline. WWE then put that promise behind an actual stipulation: if Solo lost the main event, he had to return to the group.
Solo nearly escaped it. Jimmy Uso showed up during the match and distracted him, opening the door for Jey to hit a spear and follow it with an Uso Splash for the win.
Now Solo doesn’t have a choice. Roman has spent the past several weeks rebuilding The Bloodline after becoming World Heavyweight Champion. The Usos are already back alongside him, Jacob Fatu has been beaten into submission, and Solo was the one family member still refusing to fall in line.
That ended on RAW. Solo spent weeks telling Roman no. Jey promised to bring him home anyway. One spear, one Uso Splash and one extremely unhappy Instagram Story later, The Bloodline has Solo Sikoa back. Something tells us this isn’t exactly the beginning of a peaceful family reunion.
