Gene Snitsky has never exactly been shy about his foot fetish. As it turns out, his future wife didn’t have to wait very long to find that out either.
The former WWE star has been the subject of plenty of stories over the years, including Rob Van Dam’s memorable tale about Snitsky allegedly ending up with a Hooters waitress’ toes in his mouth just minutes after walking through the door. According to Snitsky, though, he wasn’t about to hide that side of himself once he met the woman who would eventually become his wife.
The topic came up during It’s Not Our Fault while Snitsky and longtime WWE referee Mike Chioda were laughing about some of the stories from their days on the road. After joking about a few tales they still haven’t shared publicly, Chioda brought up another infamous story that Carolyn had apparently already heard.
“I was surprised. I was surprised she didn’t say nothing about the Afghanistan boot story because I know she watched that episode, too.”
That was all the opening Snitsky needed. The former WWE star made it clear his wife knows the only feet in his mouth are hers.
“Yeah, that’s not… She knows. She knows the only feet that are in my mouth these days are hers.”
That wasn’t something he waited months—or even weeks—to reveal. According to Snitsky, he brought it up on the very first date because, in his mind, there wasn’t much point continuing the relationship if she couldn’t handle it.
“She knows, ’cause that’s the funny thing. Like, when we first started seeing each other, the very first date, bro, I was like, ‘You need to take your shoes off.’ And she’s like, ‘Uh, what?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, no, I have a foot fetish, and you have ugly feet, this isn’t going to go any farther.’”
It’s an approach most people probably wouldn’t recommend for a first date. Somehow, though, it worked, and years later Snitsky says his wife not only knows all about his foot fetish but also watches every episode of the podcast where stories like these continue to resurface.
Whether fans remember Snitsky for his WWE run or the increasingly outrageous stories surrounding his foot fetish, one thing seems clear: Carolyn knew exactly what she was signing up for from the very beginning.
