Apparently, the Hooters toe-sucking story wasn’t the only bizarre Snitsky routine happening on the WWE road. Chris Masters says traveling with him meant regular adult store stops, sometimes an hour inside, followed by an even stranger gas-station run before they reached the hotel.
While speaking to Hannibal TV, Masters was asked about Snitsky’s habit of visiting adult stores while the two traveled together. He quickly shot down the idea that Snitsky was doing it because he couldn’t find women, saying that wasn’t a problem for him at all.
“I don’t think he—No, he didn’t have to at all. He could pull. I mean, honestly, I don’t know. It was just like a hobby almost to him. Like, he liked it. You know what I mean?”
Masters said their WWE schedule often meant long drives where going out to a bar or club wasn’t happening. The adult store was apparently different. Somewhere along the way, stopping at one became such a regular part of traveling with Snitsky that Masters started treating it like another mandatory stop on the route.
“Like, and the thing is is like, you know, we weren’t—a lot of those nights we obviously weren’t going to go out to a bar or club cuz we had these long drives, but like it’s almost like it just became routine. Like, he had to stop. It was like a mandated thing. Like no matter how long the drive, we had to stop by the porn shop.”
Snitsky wasn’t exactly running in and grabbing something quickly either. Masters says those stops could eat up anywhere from half an hour to an hour, eventually leaving him to go inside and get Snitsky himself.
“And then it could never just be in and out. He’d end up spending 30 to 60 minutes in there and then I have to come in to get him and then you know I get pulled into all of his is—uh, you know—”
Somehow, that still wasn’t the strangest part of the night. Masters says there was usually another stop roughly 45 minutes before reaching their hotel, and Snitsky apparently had a pretty specific shopping list waiting for him there.
“The next stop was always the funny—even funnier stop was the one that was about 45 minutes from our hotel. Like when we’re about to get into town and he’d stop at the gas station and get a Red Bull and get one of the libido d***-enhancing pills and get in the car and take it and drink the Red Bull, you know.”
Then the Masterpiece remembered one more item: pantyhose or leggings. Masters wasn’t about to explain what happened once Snitsky finally made it back to the hotel with all of that at four in the morning. He figured the combination spoke for itself.
“And don’t—don’t let me forget, don’t let me forget the pantyhose they would sell, like leggings. He would also—Yeah. So you kind of have to use your imagination about what would be going on with those ingredients at 4 in the morning at a hotel.”
The story certainly hits differently after Rob Van Dam’s recent claim about Snitsky at Hooters. RVD claimed Mike Chioda once predicted Snitsky would have a woman’s toes in his mouth within four minutes of walking into the restaurant—and sure enough, Van Dam looked over shortly afterward and saw exactly that happening.
Masters’ story makes it sound like those kinds of tales weren’t exactly out of character. Snitsky’s WWE gimmick famously leaned into his foot fetish, but according to the wrestlers who actually traveled with him, some of the stories from outside the ring were apparently even stranger than what WWE put on television.
